Ordering Information
Orders can be placed via our website. This service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also accept offline payments by cheque, drawn on a UK bank account. Orders placed offline will not be dispatched until payment has cleared. Once we have received your order, we will email you confirmation that the order has been received. We will also email you when your order has been dispatched.
Payment for all orders must be by cheque, or with a debit or credit card using the payment processing systems, Paypal or Google Checkout. If you wish to pay by cheque, please print your order and send this to Green Mums, Dolphin House, 55 Dunclair Park, Crabtree, Plymouth PL3 6DJ. We do not take debit or credit card payments over the phone.
Please make cheques payable to 'Tracy Dixon' and write the cheque guarantee card number, expiry date and issue number (switch / maestro) on the back.
Postage and Packing
Prices exclude delivery costs, which will be added to your order. If you are local to us you can collect the order yourself to avoid postage costs. Postage prices are for the UK only (UK MAINLAND / ZONE 1). For orders from outside the UK, please contact us for a postage price as this will be dependant on weight. Please note that we are not able to sell many items outside the UK due to restrictions placed on us by manufacturers.
Discount codes.
Valid discount codes cannot be redeemed against previously reduced sale items and cannot be used in conjunction with any other codes. They cannot be used for postage and packaging costs.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days, however please allow 7 working days for your order to arrive. We do try to ensure that we have a good stock of all products but from time to time some goods sell faster than we can anticipate. If the item you order is out of stock you will have the choice to either re-order a different product, wait until new stocks arrive or cancel the order entirely, no questions asked.
If you expect to be out when the delivery is likely to be made, please advise us of a neighbour's address or secure place where your order can be left. (These can be noted in the comments box at checkout) We cannot guarantee that the goods will be left in the place you designate as this will be reliant on Royal Mail, however we will make sure your request is noted on the parcel.
If you have requested that orders be left in a secure place designated by yourself, Green Mums cannot take responsibility for it if it goes missing.
Larger orders that have been sent through another carrier will be re-delivered up to 3 times following the first failed delivery attempt. Should you then be unavailable the package will be returned to us and you may be liable to pay the returned postage cost which will be the same as the outgoing charge in-order to receive your goods.
"No Quibble" Guarantee and Return
If you are not happy with your purchase please contact us by email, within 14 days, for a returns authorisation code. We will be happy to make an exchange or a refund providing the items are returned complete, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. We regret we are unable to refund the cost of returning the item to us.
When you return a Product to us we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via email within a reasonable period of time, certainly within 30 days. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
Products returned by you within the seven-day cooling off period will be refunded in full, including the cost of sending the item to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. If you are requesting an exchange, we will not charge any extra for sending the exchange item to you.
We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit, so please either insure all returns for the full value of the contents, obtain a 'Proof of Postage Certificate' from your Post Office, or use registered post to ensure safe delivery.
Import Duty
If you order Products from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
Packaging materials
Here at Green Mums, we are committed to minimising our impact on the planet and we believe that everything we do should be environmentally friendly. This means that we ensure all the packaging we purchase is from recycled sources, or are biodegradable. If we receive packaging materials, we will always recycle them rather than allowing them to go to landfill, so you may occasionally find that we have done our own bit, and recycled boxes that we have been sent! We ask that you play your part too, so please recycle any boxes, bags and packaging wherever you can
