One of our best selling nappies. The fantastic Bumgenius one size nappy is a current favourite of ours. This is a birth to potty, pocket nappy with a pocket in the back which holds the absorbent boosters.
The design of this nappy means that it really does go on just like a disposable, giving the ultimate convenience. It has velcro tabs at the waist which have a great deal of flexibility in sizing so you can get the perfect fit on your baby.

The Bumgenius comes with two absorbent microfibre boosters, one for a small baby and one for medium/large. Use both boosters together for older babies or for night time. The small booster means that you get a nice trim nappy even on a newborn.
Features of the Bumgenius V.4 nappy
- Stretchy tabs - trimmer, yet snug and comfortable
- Wider pocket- easier for stuffing and removing insert
- New insert stopper - keeps clothes dry
- Can be easily adjusted with poppers to suit your baby's size
- Comes with newborn insert - less bulk for little babies
- Grippier hook and loop - stays put and looks good - now available with poppers too!
- Designed to fit a wider weight range than the original V3
- Now with replaceable leg elastic
- The insert pocket has a handy cover which prevents the boosters sticking out and wetting your baby's clothes
- The nappy has a handy 'insert stopper' which prevents any leaks from the tummy area if the inside of the nappy rolls forwards.
- It's one of the easiest to use real nappy systems that we have tried
- To date we've had very few problems with leaks (other than when we have left the nappy on too long!)
- The Bumgenius is all you need to buy, no extra wraps and no need to buy bigger sizes. It also comes with a built in liner so you could get away without buying any additional liners. We always recommend using an extra liner though, it will keep your nappies stain free! Always use a paper liner if you are using greasy nappy creams or else the cream will damage your nappies.
- A quick drying nappy
- A great nappy if your baby is going to be cared for by other people, ie. nursery, grandparents - it couldn't be easier for them to use
Available in a range of colours - see below for full selection. We do try to have all colours in stock. Please also select your choice of fastening. We recommend poppers for durability however many people prefer velcro for convenience. If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Customer review: The best thing about these nappies is how dry they are next to my sons skin, even first thing in the morning. I used disposables with my two daughters and I can truthfully say that the bum genius feels dryer than these (and is much softer next to his skin). This is because every inch of the nappy that is in contact with baby's skin is lined in fleece. At night I find my little boys nappies get very wet, so I find the bum genius is unbeatable for night time dryness. I have also found that this nappy can take 2 or 3 boosters inside it without becoming too big and bulky. During the day I will sometimes use a separate liner to catch any solids and minimise staining - though I have to say that they have washed up beautifully so far and staining hasn't really been a problem.

Green Mums review: This is one of our favourite nappies. They are so easy to put on and you can get a perfectly snug fit. We also love the colours, it's nice to have a change from the usual pastel colours. These nappies dry really quickly - the waterproof piece and the inserts dry seperately and if left on an airer overnight are usually dry by the morning. These are the only size you will need to buy, you don't need to buy any additional wraps, you don't even have to buy seperate liners if you don't want to. (although we do recommend using a seperate liner to keep your nappies nice and clean, just in case you want to re-sell them or use on another baby)
If you are using nappy creams you should use a paper liner as creams left in contact with the actual nappy will affect its absorbency.
