Shipping & Returns
Postage and PackingOur standard postage charge is £2.50. Items will be sent via 1st class Royal Mail, unless your order is large and requires a courier. If you are local to us you are welcome to collect your order and will not be charged postage. Just place your order as normal and make a note in the order comments box that you will be collecting. We will refund the postage charge back to your card.
Please note all postage prices are for UK mainland only.
If your order has been sent by Royal Mail there is a 15 day period before any claims of non delivery can be made. This is from the date of dispatch. This period is imposed upon us by Royal Mail and we cannot refund or replace your order until this period has expired. During this time it is advisable to check with neighbours and to call the local Royal Mail Sorting Office to enquire about your parcel. We will, of course, work with you and try our best to track down any late deliveries.
For orders from outside the UK, please contact us for a postage price as this will be dependant on weight. For remote destinations and islands you will incur a surcharge. However, before any product(s) is dispatched you will be contacted to confirm the total postage cost, at which point you will be able to cancel the order if you wish to.
Ordering Information
Orders can be placed via our website. This service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also accept offline payments by cheque, drawn on a UK bank account. Orders placed offline will not be dispatched until payment has cleared. Once we have received your order, we will email you confirmation that the order has been received. We will also email you when your order has been dispatched.
We accept payment by debit or credit card, using the secure services of Paypal and Google Checkout. If you wish to pay by cheque, please print your order and send this to Green Mums, Dolphin House, 55 Dunclair Park, Crabtree, Plymouth PL3 6DJ
Please make cheques payable to 'Tracy Dixon' and write the cheque guarantee card number, expiry date and issue number (switch / maestro) on the back.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days, however please allow 7 working days for your order to arrive. We do try to ensure that we have a good stock of all products but from time to time some goods sell faster than we can anticipate. If the item you order is out of stock you will have the choice to either re-order a different product, wait until new stocks arrive or cancel the order entirely, no questions asked.
It is strongly advised that customers provide a delivery address where someone will be available to collect delivery items from Monday to Friday. If you expect to be out when the delivery is likely to be made, please advise us of a neighbour's address or secure place where your order can be left. We cannot guarantee that the goods will be left in the place you designate.
If you have requested that orders be left in a secure place designated by yourself, Green Mums cannot take responsibility for it if it goes missing. If no one is available to receive the goods and it cannot be left for you at the delivery address then you will be left a card, with details of collection or re-delivery.
Larger orders that have been sent through another carrier will be re-delivered up to 3 times following the first failed delivery attempt. Should you then be unavailable the package will be returned to us and you may be liable to pay the returned postage cost which will be the same as the outgoing charge in-order to receive your goods.
