Together they produce ionized oxygen that activates the water molecules naturally and allows them to penetrate deep into clothing fibres to lift dirt away. They are reuseable for over 1000 washes and costs on average 3p per wash.

 There are no harsh chemicals so less pollution. Rinse cycle can be shortened saving water and electricity. Ecoballs will not fade bright colours or damage clothing fibres. Hypoallergenic so suitable for sensitive skins/eczema (including babies and children). Eco-ball softens clothes even in hard water. As your clothes will be softer no fabric conditioner is necessary.

Green Mums review:  We regularly use Eco Balls, especially with darker washes and for washing nappies.  If you use them to wash nappies this avoids any problems with powder build up that you can get with detergents.  We probably use detergent for around 2 out of 5 washes and Eco Balls for the rest.  Eco Balls work well with darker washes but we tend not to use them for white washes.  Obviously they contain no chemicals and bleaches so they are not going to get your whites sparkling white!  They do manage to get most stains out of nappies, what they can't really cope with is things like tomato and grass stains.  Don't forget to line dry your nappies when you can because the sun will also help to bleach out any stains.
