Green Mums is a family run business and was set up following the birth of our daughter, Lily in 2006.
We were determined to give her the best start in life and decided straight away that we didn't want to use disposable nappies. A good friend told us about the chemicals that are in them and also about their impact on the environment.
Our search for the 'right cloth nappy' began about 2 months before she arrived and what a nightmare it was! What I wanted was someone I could go to who would give me honest advice and would only recommend a nappy that they would use on their own child - in a word, to 'simplify' everything. Green Mums aims to do just this. In addition, we only sell products which we have tried and tested ourselves. If Lily is not happy with it, we will not recommend it!
If you live in Plymouth or surrounding areas, we will be happy to visit you in your own home to give you a nappy demonstration, without obligation. You are also welcome to visit us (by appointment only please) to view the nappies we have on offer. We are also available to give real nappy advice at antenatal classes, baby groups, or any kind of group that you would like to host!

We now live in Plymouth but we are from Cornwall, where life can sometimes be harder than it is in the more affluent parts of the country. It is our aim to support local businesses as much as possible and promote local products and suppliers when we can. This will also reduce the miles that our products have to travel before they get to you!
Most importantly, we aim to provide you with a trusted site where you can be assured of excellent customer service. We want you to be totally happy with the products you buy and we welcome any feedback or questions you may have
